Helen was the daughter of Walter and Flora Chastany Chaffee.
She is survived by three brothers, Richard, Edward (Ned) and Edwin (Ted) Chaffee; a sister Priscilla Maslack; and uncles and aunts, including Glen Chaffee, Ruth Sisco and Edith Easter.
Graveside funeral services were held at Pine Grove Cemetery in Newport, followed by a committal service for Flora Chaffee and Helen Chaffee with the Reverend Alan Pineault officiating.
