Delta Broussard Berger, age 86, passed away at the home of her youngest son, Gordon, in Bastrop, on November 18, 2013. Delta was born October 07, 1927, in Gueydan, Louisiana, to Claudules and Deluska Weekly. She relocated to Brazoria County, Texas, in 1966, with her first husband and family.
Delta was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Ferris Broussard, second husband Marvin Berger and her seven siblings.
She is survived by her five children, Katie McKelvy, Pat (Nancy) Broussard, Jessica (Michael) Greenwood, Daniel (Judy) Broussard and Gordon (Jennifer) Broussard: numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
Some of her biggest passions were her quilting, sewing, gardening and family events, where she dished out a lot of love and gumbo.
The family would like to give special thanks to Gordon and his wife Jennifer for the loving care they provided during her final years of life.

Visitation and services will be held at the Restwood Funeral Home, 1038 West Plantation Drive in Clute, Texas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013, and the service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2013. Delta’s final resting place will be at the Angleton Cemetery, 328 Cemetery Road, Angleton, Texas.
