Statesboro - Mr. Johnny Mack Brown Sr., 69, died Sunday morning at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Bulloch County native was retired from the U.S. Army and Civil Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Inman Brown Sr. of Claxton; and a sister, Joyce Partin of Orlando, Fla.
Surviving is: his wife, Jenny F. Brown of Statesboro; two sons, Douglas L. Brown of Statesboro and Johnny M. Brown Jr. of Athens; a grandson, Tyler Brown-Murphy of Evans, Ga.; a brother, Inman Brown Jr. of Claxton; and a special care giver, Betty Hall of Statesboro. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Brewton Cemetery in Hagan.
