James Gordon Hatcher Sr., 68, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, at his home following a brief battle with cancer.
Funeral: Services are pending. Burial arrangements will take place in Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Colleyville.
Jim was born to Stephen Gaston and Virginia Bickers Hatcher on April 23, 1940, in Whitehaven, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Karen Ivey; and siblings, Janice Lane, Mayme Henley and Elizabeth Mims.
Survivors: His children and spouses, James Hatcher Jr. and wife, Jeanne, of Arlington, Jamie Keeling and husband, Kolby, of Colleyville, Jody Hatcher and wife, Valerie, of Colleyville, Jared Hatcher and wife, Christy, of Springhill, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Seth and Rachel Hatcher, Jace and Kendall Hatcher, Koy and Kade Keeling and Chandler Hatcher; and siblings, Stephen Hatcher and Joyce Hartenstein and their families.
