Virginia married Stephen Gaston Hatcher on December 27, 1930 in Holly Springs, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and two daughters, Janice Hatcher Lane, the eldest child, and her youngest child, Margaret Elizabeth Hatcher Mims. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Gaston Hatcher and James Gordon Hatcher, two daughters, Joyce Lee Hatcher Hartenstein and Mayme Ruth Hatcher Henley as well as many grand children, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
