Steve lived in Hawaii for over 25 years, returning to Mishawaka a few years before he died. He was a member of the Mishawaka High School Class of 1968. At Mishawaka High, Steve ran track, wrestled, was a letterman, and was in the Student Council. He was the son of Louis HAZEN, Jr., and Bertie "Sue" Isabelle BIGGS. Steve was one of seven children. He was survived by his mother, by three brothers, and by one sister, all of Mishawaka. Steve was preceded in death by his father and two brothers -- Ronald and Bruce.
