Willie Nadine Bernard Boatwright, age 54, of Palestine, Texas died June 11, 1971 in Palestine at the home of her mother, Maude Bernard. She was born in the community of Bois D'Arc, Texas on May 31, 1917, the first of three children born to John Birrel and Maude Salome Gray Bernard. Nadine was named for her paternal grandmother, Willie M. Brown Bernard. Nadine married Leo Brooks Boatwright on March 22, 1941 in Corsicana, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father in 1969. She was survived by her mother; daughter, Donna Diane Boatwright; brother, J.B. Bernard; and sister, Dixie Jean Copeland.
