Kenny was a truck driver and retired from Ryder/PIE after 40 years. He was a life-long member of St. Rita Church and a graduate of Okolona High School.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. "Ollie" and Hermina "Babe" Tobbe Frederick; his sister, Rita Callahan; and his brother Walter "Pete" Frederick.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice (Richardson) Frederick; children, Cathy Martin (George) of Hendersonville, NC, Carol Perry (Darrell), Debbie Okes (Bill), Marcia LaFlamme (Marty Conn), Bernie Frederick (Janet), all of Louisville, David Frederick (Carol Ann) of Little Rock AR; eight grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Casey Okes, Christy LaFlamme, Alicia and Amanda Martin, Katie Frederick and Kala Conn; three great-grandchildren, Alexander, Isabella and Mya Okes.
The funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 24, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Hwy., with burial in Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Hwy.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Luke or St. Rita Catholic Church Building Fund or Mass of the Air.
