SCAFFOLD FALL INJURIES FATAL
Walter T. Frederick, 35, 9210 Matilda Court, died 5:30 a.m. yesterday at Norton Memorial Infirmary of injuries suffered in a fall Saturday. Frederick fell about 10 feet from a scaffold while working at the Anderson Wood Products Co., 1381 Beech. Deputy Coroner Charles Proctor said he died of a head injury. He was employed as a pipe fitter foreman by the Viking Sprinkler Co., 5546 National Turnpike, but was not working on a company job at the time of his fall. Survivors include his widow, the former Ellen Huffman; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Frederick; a daughter, Miss Lori Ann Frederick; three sons, Douglas A., Gregory T., and Mark A. Frederick. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8709 Preston Highway, with burial in Calvary Cemetery. The body is at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway.
