MILLER – On September 27, 1968, at 11:30 p.m., at the Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg, Pa., Chester Frank Miller, husband of Amy S. Hamme Miller, Grantham, Pa., aged 83 years, 4 months, 10 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, October 1, 1968, at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Geiple Funeral Home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.

C. F. Miller, School Director 30 Years, Claimed By Death

Brodbeck – Chester Frank Miller, 83, who had formerly served 30 years as a Manheim Township School Director, died at 11:30 p.m. Friday at Seidle Memorial Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Mr. Miller, husband of Mrs. Amy S. Hamme Miller, had lived all his life in this vicinity until a year ago when he and his wife took up residence with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde L. Miller, Grantham.
He retired 10 years ago after serving 17 years as an employee of the Pennsylvania Highways Department. Mr. Miller was a member of the United Church of Christ congregation of St. Jacob’s (Stone) Union Church, near Glenville.
In addition to his wife and the son with whom he resided he is survived by 10 other children, Henry E. Miller, Brodbeck; Mrs. Ollie Weller, Alhambra, Calif.; Earl L. and Merton E. Miller, both of Hanover RD 3; Stanley W. Miller, Brodbeck; Mrs. Park Wagner, Spring Grove RD 2; Mrs. John Weaver, Tyrone, Pa.; Sterling R. Miller, Hampstead, Md.; Mrs. Samuel Blymire, DeLand, Fla., and Mrs. Faye Lease, Spring Grove; 41 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Rohrbaugh, Brodbeck.
Rev. George A. Heisey, his pastor, will officiate at funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment will be in St. Jacob’s (Stone) Church Cemetery.
