Stanley W. Miller

NEW OXFORD – Stanley W. Miller, 90, of the Brethren Home Community at Cross Keys, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 5, 2004 at the home. He was the husband of the late Grace L. (Rohrbaugh) Miller.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Calvary Bible Church, 603 Wilson Avenue, Hanover. Burial will be in St. Jacob's (Stone) Church Cemetery, Glenville. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Daniel W. Dellosso, pastor of Mt. Wolf Community Church. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Miller was born August 5, 1914 in Manheim Township, a son of the late C. Frank and Amy S. (Hamme) Miller.
He was employed as a Maintenance Foreman with the Southwestern School District for over 16 years, retiring in 1979.
He was a member of Calvary Bible Church and was formerly of Hanover before moving to the Brethren Community 19 years ago.
Mr. Miller is survived by a daughter, Macletta J. Berwager of Hanover; two sons, Daryl L. Miller of Hanover and Lynn S. Miller of Glen Rock; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Adalene M. Blymire of Deland, Fla., Faye L. Zinn of New Oxford; three brothers, Henry E. Miller and Sterling R. Miller, both of New Oxford, and Clyde L. Miller of Carlisle.
