Mrs. John A. Birschbach, 75, died Monday afternoon at the home of her son, Jerome, at St. Peter (Fond du Lac County.)

The former Mary Bertram, she was born July 3, 1881, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Wollersheim Bertram. She was married to John Birschbach, April 17, 1907, at St. Peter's Church.

Survivors are her husband; three sons, Ray of Johnsburg, Herman of Fond du Lac, Jerome at home; three daughters, Mrs. Ray (Loretta) Blatz of Stockbridge, Mrs. Ray (Frances)Ditter of Jericho, Mrs. Elmer (Clarissa) Freund of New Holstein; 28 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers and two sisters, the Rev. J.P. Bertram, Anton and Miss Rose Bertram of Campbellsport, George of Johnsburg, and Mrs. Katherine Mohr.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother, and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Friday, at the Bidlingmeier Funeral Home in Fond du Lac and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church at St. Peter. The Rev. Bittle will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home beginning Wednesday evening.
