Obituary     Hollingsworth

Edna Edith (Jones) Hollingsworth was born August 24th 1898 at Valley Falls Kansas and departed this life on April 26 1929 at Kansas City Mo. age 30 yrs. 8 months and 2 days.

On Nov. 16 1916 she was united in marriage with Iver Hollingsworth at Lexington Mo. and to this union were born 6 children, Charles age 11 Rupert age 9 Arlene age 8; Maxine age 6, Dorothy, age 2, and J.H. who departed this life at age 16 months.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband and 5 children; Mother and Father Mr. and Mrs. L.R. Jones of Lincoln Nebraska; 3 sisters, Ruth Brannon of Kansas City Mo; Agnes Corber of Topeka; Gladys Billups of Lincoln Nebr; 4 brothers Charles, Ralph, Arther and Wilburn Jones all of Lincoln Nebr. and other relatives.

At the age of 15 years she united with the Christian Church of Nortonville.

The body was brought to Valley Falls and Short Services were held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. C.H. Kimball and songs were sung by Mr. and Mrs. Fred Legler, Mrs. Lou Hauck and Milton Schindler.

Interment was in the Farrar Cemetery
