F. W. AMSPOKER, 94, IS DEAD

Frank W. Amspoker, 94, of Humboldt, father of David Amspoker here, died Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ethel Emrie, in Humboldt, following failing health due to old age complications. Funeral services will be this (Thursday) afternoon at 1:30 at the Bruce Funeral Home, Fort Dodge. Burial will be in a Fort Dodge cemetery.
Mr. Amspoker, a retired farmer, moved to the city of Humbolt in 1940, from his farm near there. He came to Humboldt from Washington, Ia. in 1906. His wife preceded him in death in 1956. Besides his daughter and son, he leaves another son, Wilbur W. Amspoker, of Humboldt, an one granddaughter, Jeanne Amspoker of Emmetsburg.
The David Amspokers, who had been spending the winter in Texas, were called home the past week and were at the elder Amspoker's bedside before his death. Their daughter, Jeanne, a student at Rice Institute, Houston, Texas, also returned last week. Local friends regret to learn of the senior Mr. Amspoker's death. He was long prominent in Humboldt county farm and community affairs.
