Thomas "Tom" E. Eisenring, 52, of Lansing, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005, at the Providence Medical Center of Kansas City, Kan.
He was born the son of Stancy W. and S. Marie (Hensley) Eisenring on Dec. 30, 1952, in Leavenworth.
He married Kerry A. Shelly on April 21, 2004, in Hawaii. She survives of the home.
Tom worked at the U.S. Disciplinary Barracks at Fort Leavenworth for more than 26 years as a boiler plant operator. He was a Navy veteran and had served in the Vietnam War. He attended the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. Tommy loved music and had played in the Deja'Blue, Hunerd Proof and the "Zap" Boogie Bands. He will be deeply missed by his family, colleagues and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kerry; son, AME2 (NAC) Aaron N. and wife, Stacy Eisenring, Leavenworth; daughter, Laura L. and husband, Sgt. Richard I. Arnold Jr. (USA), Fort Drum, N.Y.; stepsons, Hayden C. Wadsworth and Andrew S. Wadsworth, West Jordan, Utah; brothers, George E. and wife, Ruby Eisenring, Clearwater, Fla., and Richard L. and wife, Marlene Eisenring, Leadville, Colo.; three grandchildren, Robert Leftwich, Matthew Baker and Marcus Baker Jr.; father, Stancy W. Eisenring, Lansing; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
His brother, Stancy W. Eisenring Jr.; and mother, Marie Eisenring, preceded him in death.
Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
A visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2005, followed by a 10 a.m. service, both at the Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, 707 S. Sixth St., Leavenworth, KS 66048; 682-2820. After military honors, a celebration of Tom's life will continue at the Chatterbox, 101 E. Carol, Lansing.
