S. Marie Eisenring, 83, Lansing, died Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2003 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home of Lansing.
She was born Feb.2, 1919 in Warrensburg, Mo., the daughter of Walter L. and Julia A. Holt Hensley.
She married Stancy W. Eisenring July 29, 1939 in Lansing. He survives of the home.
Marie had worked in house keeping at Saint Mary College and for Hallmark Cards-Select Products, as a manager at the Montgomery Ward's kitchen and retired as owner of House of Flowers in Lansing.
She is survived by three sons, George E. Eisenring, Clearwater, Fla., Richard L. Eisenring, Leadville, Colo., and Thomas E. Eisenring, Lansing; a brother, William "Buddy" Eisenring, Denver; five sisters, Della Giese, Leavenworth, Dorothy McWilliams, Apache Junction, Ariz., Delores Estrada, Tucson, Ariz., Lucille Mahoney, Phoenix, and Rosemarie Bollin, Leavenworth; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her parents, brother, Luther Hensley, sisters, Edith Pratt and Gladys Asbury, and son, Stancy W. Eisenring Jr., preceded her in death.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, 2003 at the Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, Leavenworth (913-682-2820).
A service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials be made to Kansas Special Olympics or Hospice Preferred Choice in care of the funeral home.
