Carolyn Davis was born in Haralson County, the daughter of Evie Barber Davis and Carl B. Davis. She was a beautician employed at Marie's Beauty Salon in Villa Rica at the time of her death. She was a member of District Line Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was survived by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virgie D. Barber of Temple; paternal grandmother, Mrs. J. M. Davis of Winston.

Funeral service conducted Saturday afternoon, December 7, 1957 at District Line Methodist Church in Haralson County, with burial in the church cemetery to follow.

Hightower Funeral Home of Bremen in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn Davis was one of twelve who lost their lives on December 5, 1957 in the explosion at Berry's Pharmacy, Villa Rica, Georgia.
