JB was born in Newport Kentucky 12/13/1924. He passed away from lung cancer on 01/22/2016. His wife Armalinda, of 62 years will be buried with him. He is survived by his children Angela Rettmann, Alan Cundiff and Daniel Cundiff, grandchildren Brian Rettmann,, Paul Cundiff, Jody Abel, Mark Cundiff, Beth Vargas, Alex Cundiff, great-grandchildren, Joanna Abel and Brooklyn Cundiff. He retired from the Southern Pacific railroad. He was a WWII Veteran, 32 mission with the 485th bomb group out of Venosa Italy. He was a campground host for 27 years at Bear Valley campground in Tahoe national forest (Sierraville). JB, (a.k.a, JellyBean), taught many children on his nature walk program how important the forests are to us. His last resting place will be at the Sacramento National Cemetery at Dixon California on 02/10/2016 at 1pm.
