She was born November 21, 1863 in Elliott County, Kentucky, the daughter of Thomas Salyers and Mary Creech. She was married to Harden/Hardin Barker in 1885, he being the son of John Albert Barker and Francis "Fannie" Fields.
Burial services for Louisa were held on July 24, under the care of her family; interment in the Barker Ross Family Cemetery off Wallow Hole Rd.
