John made his living as a Ranch Foreman and is survived by his parents John and Karena Hurt, his daughter Alena Dorine Null Hurt of Sealy, a sister Katie Hurt of Waelder and grandparents John and Marth Hurt of Hobson, Texas.
John is preceded in death by his Great Grandmother Rena Peck and his aunt, Sandra Hershberger.
Interment at the Hurt Brothers Cemetery in Waelder, Texas.
