Michael (Mike) Jerome Horspool, age 40, passed away at his home in Kennewick on Monday, March 17th. He was born on July 7th, 1967 in Spokane WA. He was a 1986 graduate at Kennewick High School. He continued to support his team "The Kennewick Lions". His love for sports whether it was High School or Professional level always gave Mike something to talk about. He worked at Henrys in downtown Kennewick off and on where he made a lot of new friends. He participated in the Special Olympics for bowling, softball, basketball, and just started the bike riding season.

Mike is survived by his parents Don (Nick) and Dwyla Horspool of Yuma, AZ and Mike Canahuati of San Jose, Costa Rica. His Grandmother is Leila Proffitt of Vancouver, WA. Mike was the youngest of 7 kids. He is survived by his brother Jay Horspool and wife Stacey of Pasco, WA, his sisters Jean Hansen and husband Mark of Carson City, NV, Joan Balcos and husband Scott of Arlington, WA and Nickie Wilder and husband John of Granite Falls, WA., his brother in law Jim Story of Forsythe, MO. He is preceded in death by his sisters Renee Story and Michelle Lisherness; His Grandfather Ray Proffitt and Grandparents Luther and Irmgard Robison. He has numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins that he loved very much. His extended family consisted of his dear friends, Angel, Wayne, Mike B, Sabrina, Beverly, Frank his neighbor, and Mike from across the street. He spoke of them all in every phone conversation. The family wishes to express their thanks to Mike's payee and good friend Marilyn Guidry, you truly were Mike's guardian angel. Also, a big thanks to Ken and Lucille Allen of Kennewick. We appreciate you both very much.
