Bobby Joe Cheatwood, 74, of Spartanburg, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2012. He was the widower of Barbara (Sisk) Cheatwood.
He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Masonic Lodge Lone Oak #372, owner-operator of Bob Cheatwood Services, Barber Shop and Custom Signs, and former owner-operator of Spartanburg Barber College of Hair and Skin Care. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Stewart and husband Eddie of Woodruff; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Chuck and Steve Cheatwood.
Services were held 11:30 AM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at The Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Vanderford and Rev. Kenneth Cash officiating.
The family received friends 10:00-11:30 AM prior to the service. Entombment was at the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
