Annie Louise Steiding was the first born to Herman and Susan "Sue" (Beckman) Steiding in Garrett County, Maryland, in 1892. She married Levi Glotfelty, son of Calvin Herbert Glotfelty and Mary Catherine "Molly" Echard. Census: 1910 Annie was living in Swanton, Garrett County, Maryland.
The Children of Annie Louise Steiding and Levi Herbert Glotfelty are: Ethel C. Glotfelty, Edith E. Glotfelty, Virginia M. Glotfelty, Martha Glotfelty, Calvin Herbert Glotfelty, Hughie E. Glotfelty, Herman C. Glotfelty, Joseph N. Glotfelty, Orlando Glotfelty and Alma Glotfelty.

Annie Louise died 30 March 1961 in Bedford, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Her Obituary reads: "Sevices for Mrs. Annie Louise Glotfelty, 89, wife of Levi Glotfelty, RD3, who died yesterday of burns suffered in an explosion of gasoline, will be conducted tomorrow at 1pm at the Bedford Valley Assembly of God Church. Rev. Daniel Hare will officiate and interment will be in the Deer Park Cemetery. The body is at the Geisel Funeral Home here in Bedford, Pa. Mr. and Mrs. Glotfelty operated the Valley View Service Station and Store on RD3, and she was servicing a customer when the explosion occured. Cause of the explosion has not been determined, Pennsylvania authroities report. A native of Garrett County, Mrs. Glotfelty was the daughter of the late Herman and Susan (Beckman) Steiding. Surviving besides her husband, are nine children. Mrs. Ethel Starkey, Mrs. Edith Beckford, Mrs. Virginia Perine, Mrs. Martha Otto, Hughie, Calvin and Orlando Glotfelty, all of Baltimore. Herman Glotfelty, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Alma Lambert, Clearsville, Pa.; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Shank, LaVale; Mrs. Dora Schmidt and Mrs. Marie Schmidt, both of Maryland, and Mrs. Keith Steiding, West Virginia; a brother, Herbert Steiding, Maryland; 23 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren."
