Ms. Aschliman was currently working for Trin Inc. in Ashley where she has worked since 2000. She previously worked for the Renaissance Publishing Company in Auburn.
She was a 1987 graduate of DeKalb High School. She then received her Associate's Degree in accounting from Michiana College in Fort Wayne.
She was a member of the Gem and Mineral Society in Fort Wayne.
She was born May 2, 1968, in Auburn, to Edward and Sandra K. (Ruble) Moore.
Surviving are her daughter, Caitlin Aschliman of Auburn; her father, Edward Moore of Auburn; her brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Nicole Moore of Garner, N.C.; a nephew, Brennan Moore; and a niece, Bailee Moore.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra K. Moore.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn, with the Rev. Mike Halferty officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service.

Woman killed in Bluffton Road crash is ID'd
A woman who died early Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on Bluffton Road has been identified.
Melissa A. Aschliman, 44, of Auburn, died of blunt-force trauma, according to the Allen County Coroner's Office.
The collision, just south of Ferguson Road, occurred about 6 a.m. when a Jeep traveling south in the 11100 block of Bluffton Road crossed the centerline, striking a Volkswagen Beetle heading north, according to a report from the Allen County Sheriff's Department.
The head-on collision caused the VW to spin into a ditch and the Jeep to overturn in the road. Aschliman, the driver of the VW, died at the scene, while the male driver of the Jeep had minor injuries, the police statement said.
The drivers were both wearing seat belts.
Services for Aschliman will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Feller & Clark Funeral Home, 1860 S. Center St., Auburn, according to her obituary. Visitation will begin at noon.
