Misc: According to one of his great-grandaughters he apparently carved a pin or broach for each of his daughters from human bones while he was prisoner
Nickname: Andy Sockhead, it is said that he acquired the name because he wore a sock on his head following being deprived of his clothing while being a prisoner of the Yankees.
