She was born Sept. 13, 1927 in Pike County to Leo and Stella Agnes RIECHARD HICKSON.
She married John Henry BAKER March 5, 1957 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Mrs. Baker is survived by one son wife, of Louisiana, MO; one daughter; two daughters-in-law; one brother and wife, of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Roy Lee BAKER and John Henry BAKER Jr.; and four sisters, Mary DOWELL, Leota McCURDY, Nellie McCURDY and Katie HICKSON who died in infancy.
Mrs. Baker had been employed as a seamstress for Kamp Togs Garment Company in Clarksville and Pleasant Hill, Ill. and also at the garment factory in Bowling Green for a number of years.
She was a member of the Grassy Creek Baptist Church near Louisiana.
She loved spending time with her family and friends and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
