BINKLEY, ARTHUR CARLTON, 86, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2007 at Floyd Memorial Hospital. He was a born in Corydon, IN and was a Navy veteran. He was a retired self employed welder and mechanic. He was a successful stock car driver in the 1940s and 50s and was injured in 1958, which ended his driving career. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Bedaine Binkley; parents, Carl Binkley and Leona Pate Binkley; four brothers, Charles, Harvey, Raymond and Paul Binkley;and two sisters, Helen Amy and Blanch Boose. Survivors include one son, James Binkley (Barbara); two sisters, Rose Jacobs and Fern Montgomery; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Eula Jean Bedaine, Mrs. Charles Binkley (Noris) and Mrs. Raymond (Harriet) Binkley; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral is 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Market Street location of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville. Visitation will be at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday
