JACOBS, ROSETTA BINKLEY, 101, of Louisville, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Christian Healthcare Center. She was the former Rosetta Binkley, a native of Harrison Co., IN and a member of Fourth Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her daughters, Delores Gognat, Yvonne Lohr (Harper) and Shirley Landen (Wayne); son, Merle Lee Jacobs (Maria); 10 grand-children, 16 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grand-children. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fourth Presbyterian Church, 3016 Preston Hwy., with burial in the Marengo Cemetery (Marengo, IN). Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Hwy. Memorial gifts may be made to Fourth Presbyterian Church. Rose was the second child - and last living child - of Carlton Binkley and wife Leona Gertrude Pate. She was born near Rocky Hollow in Washington Township, Harrison, Indiana. She married Howard Merle Jacobs on April 18, 1929 in New Albany, Floyd, Indiana.
