Grandpa is also my cousin (6cou3r)!

He was born near Milano, Milam County, Texas, the fifth of seven children born to William Thomas 'Tom' BULLOCK and Caroline Rebecca 'Becky' WISE. He was known to most people as 'Joe', 'Jodie', or 'Uncle Jodie'. Grandpa married Faye/Fay LOCKHART in Milam County, Texas. They had five children, three of whom are still living.

Although he was saved as an adult, Grandpa never joined the local church or was baptized. He did, however, regularly attended First Baptist Church in Milano, Texas.

Grandpa registered for military draft on August 24, 1918. He was ordered to appear for induction on November 11, 1918. However, World War I ended and he was, apparently, never inducted. During World War II, Samuel Joseph Bullock (Order No. 10111) was classified III-A (5-5-1942) and later IV-A (2-25-1943).

Grandpa died peacefully in his sleep at home near Milano, TX and was buried in Milano Cemetery on 9 Feb 1972.
