Donald B. Watson, 71, of Del City died August 15, 2006. He was born November 13, 1934 in Stratford, OK to Noel and Bonnie Watson.

Don married Helen Pedersen on September 8, 1954 in Del City, OK.

He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Watson of the home; 2 sons: Jeffrey Watson and wife, Kelly of Norman, OK and Douglas Watson and wife, Sylvia of Del City, OK; 2 granddaughters: Shelbi Watson and Sarah Watson of Del City, OK; 2 sisters: Betty Poplin and husband, Freeman of Oklahoma City, OK and Glynda Clements and husband, Jim of McLoud, OK; several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by several special brothers and sisters-in-law.

Don was loved and respected by his extended family and friends too numerous to mention.

Services will be held Friday, August 18, 2006 at Sunny Lane United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Family will receive friends at Candlewood Chapel on Thursday evening. Memorial donations may be made to the OU Cade Cancer Center.
