On October 25, 1879, he was united in marriage with Mary Lucinda Mead, the daughter of Israel and Clarissa Austin Mead. They had four children: Avalyn C., Reedie, Willie, and Nellie; he also had two step sons, John and Frank Page, from Mary's previous marriage to Reed's brother Sherman; Sherman passed away as a result of tuberculosis. Reedie (tuberculosis), Willie (in infancy), and his wife, Mary, preceded him in death.
Mr. Page was a life member of Elsie Lodge 238, F. & A. M., and, while he never embraced religion, he was a great believer in God. He was a man of sterling character and a highly respected citizen whose friends were legion.
In addition to his immediate family, he was also survived by grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
