Mrs. Bertha Monesmith, nee Bertha Canter, died Wednesday afternoon of acute Bright's disease after an illness of only four days, at her home twelve miles south of Glenburn. Mrs. Monesmith was well known in Glenburn and her sudden death is a great sorrow to her many friends. Mrs. Monesmith was one of those cheerful persons who could at all times see the happy side of life and wherever she was present there was merriment and laughter. She was only nineteen years of age and was married last Christmas to Mr. Gussie Monesmith. She leaves to mourn her early death her husband, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Canter, and five brothers and one sister.
The funeral services will be held at one o'clock today from the Methodist church and interment will take place in the local cemetery.
