Daniel married, 18 Oct 1860 in Walton Co., GA - Martha J Griffeth, a daughter of James Locklin Griffeth and Aseneth Eberhart. Daniel and Martha were 2nd cousins. After the death of Martha on 29 Aug 1864, Daniel married, before 1873, Ann "Elizabeth" Jackson. After the death of Elizabeth on 22 Sep 1878, Daniel married, 16 Oct 1881 in Elbert Co., GA, Harriett W "Hattie" Campbell, a daughter of William D Campbell and Sarah Jane Dillard.

Father of (by Martha) Infant Son Locklin, born and died between 1860-1864.

Father of (by Elizabeth) James Francis Locklin.

Daniel and Harriett had no children.

Grandson of Samuel Locklin & Celia Zachry and Thomas Stephens Jr and Judith Hardin.

Daniel died in Clarke Co., GA.
