Mother of Salelia I, Susan R, Luda L, Oscar Leslie, Sarah A "Sallie", Thomas Boykin "Tom", James Madison, Mollie Arlene, Samuel G "Sam" and Nancy "Odelle" Bradley.

Granddaughter of Samuel Locklin & Celia Zachry and Thomas Stephens Jr & Judith Hardin.

Mollie died in Walton Co., GA.

Mrs. James M. Bradley Passes Away At Home Near Gratis

Born: August 28, 1843 Died: February 22, 1924

On Friday afternoon of last week, at her home near Gratis, occurred the death of Mrs. James M. Bradley, one of Walton county's finest and best loved women.

Although Mrs. Bradley had been in ill health for some months, her death was a shock to her friends and loved ones.

The funeral services took place on Saturday afternoon at the Bradley home, and interment followed at the family cemetery. The last sad rites were conducted by Rev. J. W. McWhorter, assisted by Rev. John H. Webb, in the presence of a large assemblage of friends and loved ones.

Mrs. Bradley was eighty years of age on August 28, 1923.

Before her marriage to Mr. Bradley she was Miss Mollie Locklin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Locklin, two splendid citizens of this county.

Fifty-nine years ago she was married to Mr. James Bradley, who previous to his death (July 17, 1909) was one of Walton county's most prominent citizens. The period of their married life was spent at the old Bradley home near Gratis.

Mrs. Bradley was a consecrated, loyal member of the Baptist church, being at the time of her death a member of Bethlehem church. Hers was a bright Christian example and she will be sadly missed for her many good works.

Mrs. Bradley is survived by the following children: Mrs. John (Mollie) Verner and Mrs. Mahlon (Odelle) Coker, of this county, Mrs. Berta (Sally) Bowman, of Buford, and Messrs. Oscar, Thomas, James and Sam Bradley. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edith Evans and Mrs. Hambrick, of Jacksonville, Fla.

Mr. J. Z. Locklin and Mrs. Mat Treadwell were close relatives of Mrs. Bradley.
