Church Hill - Wiley (Buddy) Armstrong, 43, Church Hill barber, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday after a short illness. His home was on Church hill Rt. 1.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Belle Armstrong; daughter, Mrs. Rinda Lionberger of Atlanta; sons, Fred, in the Army at Fort Sill, Okla., and Ivan Armstrong of the home; granddaughter Robin, also of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Armstrong, Church Hill; sisters, Mrs. Peggy Broyles, Telford; Mrs. Joan Amis, Surgoinsville; Mrs. Grace Waye, Kingsport, and Mrs Joyce Brickey, Richmond, Va.; brothers, James Mack and Wayne, all of Church Hill; Bob and Glenn, both of Kingsport, and Rex Armstrong, Surgoinsville.

Funeral services for Wiley (Buddy) Armstrong of Church Hill, Rt. 1, who died Wednesday, will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the Wison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Elmer Click and Rev. Trigg James Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Elms Springs Cemetery. The body will remain at the Wilson Funeral Home in Church Hill where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
