David was born on February 29, 1984 and passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David George Orbits. David passed away suddenly at home on January 26th at the age of 28. He was the beloved son of David A. and Jo D. Orbits. He is survived by his sister Erin Orbits, Grandfather George C. Orbits, Grandmother Ida Kingston, six aunts, five uncles, and 18 cousins.

He excelled at weight lifting and enjoyed sports, over the years he played football, baseball, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and golf. His other favorite hobbies included paintball, skateboarding, playing video games (Halo was a favorite), listening to music, and watching movies. David loved animals, especially his beloved dog Tasha, enjoyed spending time with friends, and was an enthusiastic motorcyclist.

David graduated from Overlake High School in 2002 and graduated from Seattle University with a degree in computer science in 2008. In the last six months, he and his Dad were developing an iPhone app designed to assist teachers and coaches: the app is nearly complete.

His "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be on February 15, 2013 at 1PM at the Washington Cathedral in Redmond, WA. Please sign the online guestbook at www.bartonfuneral.com or if you prefer to share privately, send an email to [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Homeward Pet in Woodinville or the King County Library System.
