Spc. Lorinzer P. Clark of Columbus, Ohio was killed in Vietnam while serving in the United States Army and is honored on Panel 29E, Row 99 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. Two men from Headquarters Company, 1/5 Infantry, were killed in a mortar attack on the battalion's night forward base camp: SP4 Lorinzer P. Clark and PFC Jimmie L. McMorris of Norristown, Pennsylvania.
