A retired Anderson Co. employee, he was born in Arkansas April 25, 1903. His wife, Emma Arnold Bennett, preceded him in death.
Surviving are four daughters, Sue Holloway and Robyn Underwood of Portage; Shirley Robertson and Judith Kitchen of Hobart; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bartholomew Funeral Home; the Rev. Robert Leib officiating; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery; visitation until 8 p.m. today.
