Mrs. Laura Drum Fish, 1906 Gum St. , died Wednesday at 3 p.m. at her home. She had been in failing health for some time, and seriously ill for two months.
Mrs. Fish, 94, was the oldest member of Faith Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons. C.I. Fish of Gastonia and Thomas R. Fish of Kentucky, two daughters, Mrs. Tom Williams of Maiden and Mrs. Ethel Fish of Gastonia; one brother J.W. Drum of Charlotte; one sister; Mrs. George Cloninger of Lake Lure, 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday at 4 p.m. at the Faith Methodist Church. Assisting the pastor, the Rev. J. Leonard Rayle, in the service will be the Rev. J.L. Pittard of Hickory Grove Methodist of Charlotte. Burial follows in Hollywood cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bob Stowe, Carl Auten, Earnest Moore, Hall Rhyne, John Beauchamp and Charles Thomas. The body will lie in state one hour prior to burial. Carothers Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
