Mrs. Fred M. Bailey

Mrs. Florence Ingalls Bailey, wife of Fred M. Bailey, died at Thanksgiving Hospital, Saturday afternoon, October 27th, where she had gone only about an hour before for treatment for asthma from which she had been suffering for several days.

Mrs. Bailey was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Menzo Ingalls of Chase, where she was born January 22, 1879. Since her marriage to Mr. Bailey in 1898 she has lived in Cooperstown where she had a wide circle of firneds who were greatly shocked and grieved at her sudden death. She is survived by her husband and four children, Morgan, Margaret, Robert and Elizabeth, by her father and mother and three sisters, Mrs. Fred Steere of Toddsville, Mrs. H.D. Hayes of Middleburgh, Pa., and Miss Olive Ingalls of Hartwick Seminary and Harry C. Ingalls of Chase.

The funeral was held at the home, Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. LeRoy Halbert of the Baptist church officiating. Internment at Harwick Seminary.
