RAINSVILLE - Bob Lee "Bondo" Bailey, 70, died Wednesday, July 8, 2009, at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
Survivors are wife, Mary Etta Bailey, of Rainsville; two daughters, Sallie Josephine Bailey, of Rainsville, and Mary Elizabeth "Tooter" Lance, and husband, Joey, of Rainsville; three grandchildren, Wyatt Lee Lance, of Rainsville, Joshua Alexander Lance, of Rainsville, Macy Elizabeth Lance, of Rainsville; brother, Junior A. Bailey, and wife, Jane, of Detroit, Mich.; one uncle, Erbon C. Bell, and wife, Inez, of Lillian, Ala.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be today, July 10, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Nazareth Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Benefield and the Rev. Roger Graham officiating.
Burial will follow in Bailey's Chapel Cemetery with Rainsville Funeral Home Inc. directing, www.rainsvillefuneralhome.com. Visitation will be today from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. from Rainsville Funeral Home.
His body will lie in state at Nazareth Baptist Church today, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
