Obituary of William Claycomb
William Paul Claycomb, 77, of Williamsburg RD 2 died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, 1983, at his home, after an extended illness.
Mr. Claycomb retired as a boiler tender from the Pennsylvania Electric Company, Williamsburg plant, after 25 years' service.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Williamsburg Church of God, by the Rev. Samuel Kittle.
Burial will be in Shellytown Fairview Cemetery.
Arrangements by the Bolger-Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
He was born Nov. 5, 1905, in Alum Bank, a son of Lemon and Ressie (Ickes) Claycomb, and Dec. 20, 1923, in Cumberland, Md., married Alma Arlene Mickle.
Mr. Claycomb was a member of the Williamsburg Church of God.
Surviving are his wife, three children, Joseph Wayne and Mrs. Mary Lou Perrin of Williamsburg and Mrs. Joanne Lane of Juniata, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
