Obituary of Alma (Mickle) Claycomb
Alma A. Claycomb, 84, of Liberty Village Apartments, Williamsburg, died at 6:45 a.m. Friday, April 12, 1991, at Altoona Hospital.
A funeral was held Monday at the Williamsburg Church of God by the Rev. J. Darryl Crawford. Interment was at Shellytown Fairview Cemetery, Williamsburg RD.
She was born March 8, 1907, in West St. Clair Township, Bedford County, the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Carson) Mickle, and on Dec. 20, 1923, in Cumberland, Md., married William Paul Claycomb, who died Jan. 25, 1983.
Surviving are three children, J. Wayne and Mary Lou Perrin of Williamsburg and P. Joanne Lane of Juniata; four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A sister, Rena Claar, died March 24, 1991.
She was a member of the Williamsburg Church of God.
