Ferdinand Beilke was born in Wisconsin and moved to Minnesota with his parents in March 1893. They lived on a farm in Unity Township. He married Hanna Schwanke on Oct. 4, 1894 in Unity Lutheran Church. Ferdinand spent his life farming in the Sauk Centre community and in the declining years of his life he lived with his son Otto and family, 6.5 miles northeast of Sauk Centre.
