Benjamin Franklin Lilly, the three-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lilly, former well known residents of this section was laid at rest in the Masonic cemetery Saturday. The child passed away at Zilzah, in the San Fernando district, near where hs parents have been living. Death came Friday after a short illness.
The baby's father was, until a few months ago, a resident of the Ocean View vicinity, engaged in ranching. He later moved to the San Fernando county.
The remains of the little boy reached here this morning and were taken to the Oxnard Undertaking Company's parlors from where the funeral was held at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Rev. Botking of the Methodist church officiated.
