Thelma Bloom, 85, Clay Center, Kansas died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1995, at Clay County Hospital, Clay Center. She was born Thelma Ruby Gonser on Sept. 2, 1909, at Manchester, KS. She was a lifetime Clay County resident.
Thelma was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy.
Survivors include her husband, Leroy A. of Clay Center; two sons, Nedwin, Clay Center and Larry, Mesa, Ariz.; four daughters, Donna Brown and Jean Hatfield, both of Clay Center; Arletta Mueller, Wisconsin; and Cheryl Lonergan, Burbank, Illinois; three sisters, Mabel Prine, Loretta Parry and Norma Wynn, all of Clay Center; a brother, Merle Gonser, Idana, KS; 22 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at the Presbyterian Church, Idana. Burial will be in Idana Cemetery, Idana. Visitation will be at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home, Clay Center.
