Milton- Elizabeth M. "Betty" Bua, age 66, of 1155 E. High St. died Sat., Feb. 14, 1998, at Mercy Hospital. She was born May 24, 1931, in Johnstown, Rock Co., the daughter of I.G. and Alice M. (Daley) Hall. Betty married Frank Bua July 12 1952, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Janesville. She was a 1952 graduate of Milton College and was a homemaker throughout her entire life. Betty was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Milton and its St. Monica's Circle for many years.
Survivors include her husband, Frank of Milton; 6 children: Toni (Randy) Furan of McFarland, WI, Jill (Gary) Mach of Franklin, WI, Mary (Patrick) Lemirande of New Berlin, WI, Lisa (Jeff) Root of Stoughton, WI, Mike (Anita) Bua of Beloit, and Amy Bua of Madison; 11 grandchildren: Abbey, A.J., Emily, Sean, Lucas, Jacob, Zachary, Nicholas, Emily, Anthony, Francesca; a sister, Judy (Richard) McCue of Janesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, June Hanthorn.
Funeral services will be held Tues., Feb. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton with Fr. Jim McEnery officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Milton. Visitations are Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Milton, where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Hansen Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
