I. G. (Ike) Hall, 69, of Johnstown, well known Rock County implement dealer and cattle buyer, died yesterday morning in Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.
He headed I. G. Hall, Inc., since 1937 was a partner in Hall and Shadel, Inc., and a director of Allis Chalmers Agricultural Hall of Fame. He served on the Johnstown Town Board 25 years.
He was born in Johnstown, Nov. 15, 1897, son of William and Emma Weber Hall. He married Alice Daley Jan. 12, 1921, in St. Patrick's Church.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Hanthorn, Rt. 1, Whitewater, Mrs. Frank Bua, Rt. 1, Milton, and Mrs. Richard McCue, Janesville; 12 grandchildren, one great-grandson; a sister, Mrs. George Johnson, Richmond.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Whitcomb Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Johnstown cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow afternoon and evening.
