STERLING – Benjamin A. Amesquita, 58 of Sterling died Friday July 31, 2015 at his home.
He was born on March 10, 1957 in Sterling the son of Richard I. and Jennie R. (Serrano) Amesquita. He was employed for the past 27 years at Self Help in Sterling. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Surviving are his sisters: Veronica (Manuel) Sigales and Caroline (Steve) Bernhardt; his brothers: Richard (Bonnie) Amesquita and Anthony Amesquita (Terri Lawrence); and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 4, 2015 from 4-7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 1 PM in St Mary Catholic Church in Sterling with the Reverend James Keenan officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Sterling.
