War of 1812 Veteran

Col. Ensign and Millie (Marsh) Hill, farmers, who came to that part of Onondaga Co. at a very early day. Colonel Hill was born in Pittsfield, Mass., served in the war of 1812, and obtained his title from holding that position in the old State Militia in Pompey.
